Amenmesse

Amenmesse
(reigned c. 1202–1199 BC)
   Throne name Menmire. Of unknown parentage, he contended with Sety II for the throne upon the death of Merenptah. Amenmesse was defeated and his memory largely obliterated. He had prepared tombKV10in the Valley of the Kings for his burial.
